Gorgeous Dove Canyon View Pool Home, RSM: A Must See!

This is a blog post I wrote a while back. I thought it would be nice to show homes inside Dove Canyon. It is no longer for sale, but if you are interested in this ara, worth exploring different homes inside the Dove Canyon Community.

Oh, where to begin with everything I really do love about this home. I see so many homes as a Realtor®, I’ve gotta say, On a day of previewing if I walk away with 1 or 2 favorites, it’s a good day!!! This particular day we did find 2 at opposite ends of the pricing spectrum. One was a Rancho Santa Margarita charming 1100 sq ft single story and then there was THIS Jewel I want to show you. When I look at homes, I look at them from all aspects from their appeal of actually living in them, design appeal and/or possibilities, and also from a smart investment for the future.

It was a rainy day, but still, the view was absolutely amazing! Can you imagine working from home at a desk with this view.

This one won queen for the week for many reasons!!! Let say one thing before I begin, the photos don’t do it justice. Don’t get wrong, they are great photos… You see, and I’m sure everyone has experienced this. Some photos look really great, but then the home is a disappointment. On this home, the opposite is true. Some homes look better in person, that darn camera can’t always capture it. LOL This is one of them for me!!! So let me see if I can add some perspective…

The area, The Home, Dove Canyon delivers a Life-Style

I have more than a few things to say about this Gorgeous Home, So Grab your coffee and get comfortable… and here we go… First… I would like to say… This entire home from the moment you walk inside has the look and feel of a brand new model home!!! Okay, it needs some warmth, some rugs, art, plants, a some personal touches, but the finishes and upgrades are beautiful.

It located in an absolutely beautifully designed 24/7 guard gated community which backed up the Cleveland national forest. It is 3700 sq ft, 5 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath, pool, view home, 4 car garage, on a 8625 sq ft lot. There is much to be said about the area which I’m happy to answer but for now let’s get to the heart of the home. When you arrive home you walk in through the grand double door entry. The minute you enter, it has such a clean, open, spacious, light, wonderful, contemporary, yet comfortable appeal in every direction of your eyes. I think they dotted all the i’s and crossed all the t’s on this one!!!

It’s a wonderful 2 story

The entrance foyer is open all the way to the second floor accented with a huge lighting feature. Oh, the windows and I love the wood floor, Beautiful, yet it’s not that high maintenance glossy wood flooring. That gets kudos in my book. 🙂 The light flooding in from all the wonderful windows, the living room is expansive to 2 stories which adds to the dramatic open display of flowing light and views!!! It is another winner for me, but the windows are loaded all along the back of home, so not only light flowing into the home… but mighty fine on the eyes! So many windows all open to back, no homes behind it, An amazingly beautiful vast view of the Dove Canyon golf course and rolling green hills. They got me there. I openly admit View homes are my favorite! I always say you can change a home design but not the view!!!

Oh… Shall we talk a little about the backyard?

But you really should see and feel it’s vibe… Yes, we can say your own little paradise!!! I must add any one of the 3 doors that lead outside is almost begging you to walk outside to take in the views, drawing you out to a little bit of heavenly peaceful views. Not only spectacular views, It is also beautifully designed with a tropical rock style pool, spa, and patio area. Several different areas for seating and enjoying the company of loved ones, and of course a built in BBQ. With this Large yard the pool features include new Pebble Tech pool and spa, new salt water system, filter, pumps and heater.

This home is truly designed for enjoying life with your family and friends, and that is the best part and heart of any home. If you can’t do that, it’s just a house. This home is your own personal sanctuary, a retreat to create memories filled with all the good things with family and friends. What is better than good company, joy, fun, and some great food, which leads to… Hmmm… Should I BBQ or cook up a storm in the kitchen?

Let’s talk about the kitchen

It’s really is a beautiful, large, and nicely laid out kitchen. It has an elegance to the design, but still maintains a happy home comfort feel. That quartz, I really do love it!!! It’s shows even better in person. This kitchen has new cabinets, new high end Bosch and Kitchenaid appliances, farmhouse stainless steel sink with designer faucet (love) and large center island with designer Quartz top and waterfall. This kitchen is on point, I am a person that does enjoy cooking. I actually had owned a little restaurant cafe off of Old Newport Blvd. back when I was 23 years old. So yes.

A Kitchen is important to me personally and it most definitely got my seal of approval, a must see!!! I love that is it’s open to the grand room to enjoy company of others while you are cooking… and in eye shot of a that wonderful stone fireplace there. It’s another winner on a good checklist. There is an eat in kitchen area, but I would also like to add a note here about the dinning room area.

The Dining Room.

Staging could have been a little better, but you can imagine the possibilities. The dining room is great for another reason, it’s not closed off so if you were having a large amount of company there is plenty of room to extend. When or if, your circle of family or friends is larger, you can extend your dining room table 😉 The reason why I bring this up is. I come from a large family. We all grew up and started families of our own, let’s just say so did the need of space at the dinner table. Then you can all move outdoors for a little R and R, to your own personal resort.

This home has a bedroom with attached bath downstairs, or office?

With it’s own outside side door entrance. That is not only a great feature but a great resale feature should you ever decide to move, especially as we have an aging baby boomer population and also wonderful for guests. The downstairs also has another 1/2 bath and laundry room.

Upstairs we Go to the Main Suite

Here is where I am going to say this floorplan of this entire home is so amazing, they used every single part of the 3700 sq ft so wonderfully. All 5 bedrooms in this home have either a personal bathroom or in case of 2 of the bedrooms here, a jack and jill bathroom. All bathrooms with new cabinets, Quartz countertops, and designer fixtures.

The 3 bedrooms wing to left side of the main suite. The main suite bedroom, the views are simply outstanding! A floating mirror with designer back lighting, designer tile surround shower with frameless glass enclosure.

If that is not enough, it has a freestanding tub with designer tub filler and high end fixtures. A knock your socks and soak a for while in your lavender bath salts kind of vibe. Yes, there is not only a fireplace, there is an alcove by one of the windows. Such a peaceful spot to start the morning with your coffee or tea with a stunning view. How you start your morning can lasting effect on your day and that there is a fantastic way to start it! Really quite beautiful!!

But wait, this Dove Canyon Home Gets better

The bedrooms are all off to the left of the stairs but off to the right what I think could have multipurpose, a large bonus room. See that alcove over by the far window? It is perfect for an office work area with a fantabulous view, bound to inspire creativity and calm working environment!

In addition there is a nice spacious lounging retreat that can be for meetings, place for large screen TV and more. It can also double as a chill zone for family to watch a movie. I love this space and the design. Whether you have the need for a pleasingly appealing place to work at home, or an area for children to work and play. Or even, turn it into a game room, I think a pool table would fit nicely. It lends itself to either or both of those perfectly. I seriously would love that space for my own work! 🙂

What about a His and Her Garage?

 Have you ever felt the need for a his and hers garage? LOL You got it here. It is a 4 car garage, 2 x 2, separate. No honey, that goes in your garage, grin. This particle home community area in some homes can be a little stingy with the driveways. Not here, you get a nice size driveway The garage floors have the epoxy finish on them. I did that to mine and I really love it, also great cabinets in both and work bench in one.

Dove Canyon Community offers The magnificent Jack Nicklaus ‘Signature’ course

Living here in Dove Canyon you’ll find the only golf course in Orange County designed with the “Masters’ touch”. Check video for better look. It boasts stunning mountain views, in every direction you look you’ll see the breathtaking scenic views. Nature seems to love it here too, you’ll hear all the wonderful birds. In the early morning, it is also very possible you’ll see deer out and about on the golf course, that’s a plus in my book 🙂 . The coyotes can be heard sometimes at night and you do need to have a respectable amount of precaution when it comes them.

There are numerous homes that offer golf course views. Others boast stunning vistas of rolling hills. It’s worth noting that in person, the beauty is even more impressive.

Dove Canyon Amenities offered Inside This Community

Some homes having personal pools, good to know a community pool still remains a popular option. Additionally, there are four lighted tennis courts, a children’s play area, and a basketball court for your recreational activities. There is a beautifully designed clubhouse that includes a restaurant, gym, and even a golf course. It is important to note that additional fees do apply for use of the golf course, gym, and restaurant. This photo is of the backside of the clubhouse.
